Shell Oil Products - aka: Equilon Enterprises, Texaco

 
Location & History

The facility was originally constructed in 1957 and 1958. The facility was owned and operated by Texaco. In January 1998, Equilon Enterprises LLC was formed as a joint venture petroleum company between affiliates of Shell Oil Company and Texaco Inc. Effective March 1, 2002 Equilon began doing business as Shell Oil Products US. The Puget Sound Refinery is located on the northwestern coast of Washington on March Point, which extends into Fidalgo Bay to the west and Padilla Bay to the east. The facility is located in Skagit County, approximately five miles east of the city of Anacortes, Washington. The wastewater treatment facility discharges treated effluent into Fidalgo Bay.
