Tesoro Refinery


The comment period on the proposed reissuance of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System wastewater permit for the Tesoro refinery in Anacortes ended July 29, 2013. For more information, read the: Location & History

Constructed in 1955, the refinery is located in Skagit County on March Point. It discharges wastewater into Fidalgo Bay.

Capacity

The refinery has capacity to process an average of 105,000 barrels per day of crude oil.
