Georgia Pacific, CamasLocation & History This Georgia Pacific facility is a pulp and paper mill. Bordered on three sides by the City of Camas, a little over a quarter of the mill site lies north of the Camas Slough (an arm of the Columbia River that connects to the Washougal River). The rest of the mill is on Lady Island, bordered on the north by the slough and the south by the Columbia River. The wastewater treatment system and a solid waste landfill are located on this island. The final wastewater discharge outfall extends into the Columbia River. Capacity: Average production in 2011 was approximately 700 tons of bleached Kraft paper per year, used to manufacture tissue, toweling, office paper, along with other grades and finished products.
