Remedial Action Grant (RAG) Rule Making

Rule Adoption

On August 29, 2014, the Department of Ecology (Ecology) repealed Chapter 173-322 WAC and adopted new Chapter 173-322A WAC, Remedial Action Grants and Loans. The new chapter modifies and replaces the repealed chapter. The new chapter will be published in the Washington State Register on September 17, 2014, and become effective on September 29, 2014.  To view the filing documents, go to Rule Documents.

Response to Comments on Rule Proposal

Ecology’s response to comments received during the public comment period is now available. The response is contained within the Concise Explanatory Statement (CES). The purpose of the CES is to:

  1. Provide reasons for adopting the rule.
  2. Describe differences between the proposed and adopted rule.
  3. Provide Ecology’s response to public comments on the proposed rule.

This documentation is required by the Administrative Procedure Act (RCW 34.05.325).
