SITE DESCRIPTION
The Harrison Texaco site is located on Simpson Avenue at 9th Street in
Hoquiam, WA. The site is a former gas station, now being used by J.K. Log
Furniture to make furniture from cedar wood. The property has been the site of
several gas stations from as early as the 1930s. The current station, Harrison
Texaco, was constructed in 1965. It has not been used as service station for 10
years.
Ecology expects to find some soil pollution from spilled or leaked:
Gasoline.
Diesel.
Waste oil.
Petroleum breakdown products.
