Duwamish River Festival - August 12, 2006
The second Duwamish River Festival was very successful this past year! Ecology
collaborated with other state, federal, local agencies along with community
organizations for the second Duwamish River Festival in Seattle's South Park
neighborhood.
The festival doubled in size, both in number of people in attendance and number
of booths and displays. Approximately 600 people came to the festival this year
to get environmental and health information related to the Duwamish River and
Puget Sound, to take a boat ride on the river, and to enjoy free music and food!
