Ebey Island Habitat Restoration Feasibility Study

This project provided partial funding for a feasibility study for wetland restoration on Ebey Island.  The study was implemented by Washington Dept of Fish and Wildlife and their contractor, AMEC.  AMEC developed and evaluated feasibility alternatives for 1,257 acres of potential wetland restoration to support Chinook salmon recovery.  The land is currently owned by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.  Feasibility studies are important to determine if there are issues or obstacles that may prevent restoration development from being successful.
