The Everett Smelter cleanup area is
called the Community Protection Boundary. It is broken
into two cleanup areas, the Upland cleanup area and the
Lowland cleanup area. Cleanup in the upland and lowland
are managed as two separate cleanup areas although they
are both funded through the Asarco settlement. The
Legion Memorial Golf Course is not part of the upland
cleanup and is being addressed independently by the City
of Everett. It is not being funded through the Asarco
settlement fund. |
