Purchasing A Property With Underground Tanks

If you are purchasing a property with existing underground tanks, you must file a change of ownership for  the tanks.  The following sources explain the procedures and required forms:

Check with your local city and county authorities to determine if there are additional requirements associated with your UST System(s).




1If installing a new tank at an existing site, you will need to fill out a Business License Application and include the tank fee of $160 per tank along with the $19 application fee.
