Water Quality Policy 1-11

The Department of Ecology finalized two policy documents on September 6, 2006:

Revision of the Water Quality Program's “Assessment of Water Quality for the Clean Water Act Sections 303(d) and 305(b) Integrated Report” (PDF) ( Water Quality Program Policy 1-11, Chapter 1), which describes the listing decisions that Ecology will make for the Section 303(d) list and other categories that describe the quality of Washington’s waters.
“Ensuring Credible Data for Water Quality Management” (PDF) (Water Quality Program Policy 1-11, Chapter 2), which describes how Ecology will promote the use of credible data in water quality decisions.

A response to comments (PDF) received on the two policy documents from the recently held public review is available.
