Ecology hosted listening sessions in August and September 2010 in Eastern and Western Washington. These sessions provided a forum for interested parties and stakeholders to offer suggestions to Ecology for improvements to municipal stormwater permits.
Ecology also provided an online comment form. This was available until October 13, 2010.
Ecology staff took notes at each listening session. These notes are posted below. Ecology will not formally respond to comments from the listening sessions or from the comment form, but will consider all comments and ideas equally when developing the new permits.

Online CommentsThe online comment form was made available to the public on Ecology's website between August 2010 and October 2010. It was publicized during the listening sessions and on Ecology's Stormwater WebPages. Eleven individuals submitted comments using the online form. Below is a summary of the submitted online comments.
Ecology would like to thank everyone who commented online and at the listening sessions. We heard lots of ideas for improving the next round of municipal stormwater permits. Stay tuned.
