Native American Use of Aquatic Plants

Native American Use Icon The indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest depended on plants they could gather and wildlife they could hunt for their food, clothing, and shelter. Much of the knowledge of their plant use has been lost, but certain plants have fairly well-known uses that are noted in the plant description pages.
