Sub-Task 3E: Refine the Numerical Model of Toxics in Puget Sound, and Evaluate Pollution Reduction Scenarios

The purpose of this task is to extend the Puget Sound Toxics Box Model to include PBDEs (polybrominated diphenyl ethers, incorporate data collected in Phases 2 and 3 into the model, and use the updated model to predict possible environmental outcomes from different toxics reduction alternatives.

Expected Outcome: Refinement of the Puget Sound Toxics Box Model to evaluate contaminant loading, fate, and transport.

The Department of Ecology's Environmental Assessment Program will oversee this sub-task.
