Long Term Funding Subtask Force

E2SSB 6117 (sec. 10) requires Ecology to form a sub-task force of existing Reclaimed Water Use Rule Advisory Committee members and reclaimed water users. This purpose of this sub-task force is to provide recommendations for a long-term dedicated funding program to construct reclaimed water facilities.  The 10-member sub-task force includes representatives from the Department of Ecology, Department of Health, city, county, water-sewer district utilities, environmental and business communities. In addition to any other recommendations, the new law requires the rule sub-task force to provide a comprehensive funding, loan and grant program. Ecology will report to the legislature by December 31, 2007.
