This purpose of this Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) is to provide technical expertise to assist Ecology and the Reclaimed Water Rule Advisory Committee (RAC) with the update to the 1997 Water Reclamation and Reuse technical standards. The TAP will review Washington’s implementation experiences under the 1997 standards as well as regulatory practices and trends in other states. The TAP will provide information and recommendations for the RAC and Ecology to consider on updating existing reclaimed water technical standards, design criteria, and monitoring requirements.
The TAP includes water reuse experts from the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association (an educational, non-profit organization with representation on the RAC), academia, and state government familiar with Washington State.
