Resources for Municipal Stormwater Managers

This page provides resources for stormwater managers of the Municipal Phase II Stormwater Program.

The Phase II stormwater program covers approximately 100 Washington cities and counties. The Phase II permits require each municipality to meet the requirements of their permit. Each municipality's permit for discharging stormwater is designed to reduce the discharge of pollutants, protect water quality, and meet the requirements of the Clean Water Act.

The Phase II permits requires stormwater managers to develop a Stormwater Management Plan. The plan must include 6 measures to control stormwater:
