The Wastewater Operator Certification Program Advisory Committee is a forum
in which questions and concerns can be raised, possible solutions discussed, and
recommendations made. Recommendations are made by the committee to the
Department of Ecology. Ecology, taking the recommendations into consideration,
makes the final decision. Anyone wishing to bring something to the committee for
discussion, should contact a member of the advisory committee (see membership
list).
The committee membership consists of the Operator Certification Program
Coordinator, the Certification Program Coordinator's supervisor, the Water Works
Operator Certification Director, two operators from each certification group
with one from western Washington and one from eastern Washington, a public works
director, a sewer district commissioner, and an ad hoc member.
