Outstanding Wastwater Treatment Plant Awards history list
Highlights for 2008 include super-achievers Manchester with 14 consecutive years of perfection, Newport with 12 consecutive years of perfection, and Port Townsend with 11 consecutive years or perfection. Chambers Creek, Marine Park, Sedro-Woolley, and Vancouver West have each received the award 10 times since 1995. In addition, 20 wastewater treatment plants are getting the honor for the first time. Manchester is the only treatment plant to have received the Outstanding Wastewater Treatment Plant Award every year since 1995. See the Manchester Recognition article.
