Green River Community College offers a variety of classroom and online courses directly related to water and wastewater technology. Students may take individual courses or work toward a Certificate of Proficiency in Wastewater Treatment, Water Treatment, or Water Distribution Programs. In addition, certified operators can take continuing education training to meet their Professional Growth requirements. GRCC is also a sponsor of the Annual Water/Wastewater Operators Workshop (WOW) in March.

If you are dual certified (Wastewater and Water), you need to contact Peggy Barton at Washington Certification Services before signing up for CSUS correspondence courses. If you are certified only in Wastewater and CSUS tells you you need to contact Washington Certification Services before you can order a course tell them you are certified in Wastewater only, then you can go ahead and order the course.

The PNCWA has operator sections statewide. Sections meet regularly and offer wastewater operator training on a range of topics. In addition, PNCWA holds Short Schools in each region. CEU Plan
