Green River Community College offers a variety of classroom and online courses directly
related to water and wastewater technology. Students may take individual courses
or work
toward a Certificate of Proficiency in Wastewater Treatment, Water Treatment, or
Water Distribution Programs. In addition, certified operators can take
continuing education training to meet their Professional Growth requirements.
GRCC is also a sponsor of the Annual Water/Wastewater Operators Workshop (WOW)
in March.

If you are dual certified (Wastewater and Water), you need to contact Peggy
Barton at Washington Certification Services before signing up for CSUS correspondence courses. If you are
certified only in Wastewater and CSUS tells you you need to contact Washington
Certification Services before
you can order a course tell them you are certified in Wastewater only, then you
can go ahead and order the course.

The SBCTC can provide telephone numbers for community and technical colleges.
Many local colleges offer courses related to wastewater.

ERWoW offers training in wastewater
and water related subjects including certification exam reviews. They sponsor
their Annual Conference and Trade Show for system operators in February, an
Equipment Expo in July and a Fall Conference and Trade Show for system operators

The PNCWA has operator sections statewide. Sections meet regularly and offer
wastewater operator training on a range of topics. In addition, PNCWA holds
Short Schools in each region. The PNCWA sponsors an annual conference and

CEU Plan
CEU Plan provides online training to wastewater professionals. CEU Plan
