Instructor/CEU Approval

Ecology’s Wastewater Operator Certification Program (OpCert) evaluates training courses for professional growth training.  Certified wastewater operators can use approved training to meet the professional growth requirement for their certification. Ecology uses the Association of Boards of Certification Continuing Education Course Topic Guidelines for Wastewater Operators to determine course relevancy. Instructors wanting to offer continuing education units (CEUs) to operators for attending a course should design their training based on the topic guidelines.

To request CEUs for a training course, complete the CEU request form and return it to the OpCert Program with the requested attachments.

For your convenience, here is a training sign-in sheet. You can use or modify it to meet your needs. If you create your own sign-in sheet, be sure to include the course name, ECY course number, start and end times, course date, operator certification number and instructor name.
