National Science Review - March 2004

To support the dialogue on a new water allocation program for the Columbia Mainstem the Department of Ecology secured a formal and independent review of the existing science related to fish survival and hydrology in the Columbia River.  This review was conducted through the National Academy of Sciences, under contract with the state and was released in March 2004.  As part of the national science review, regional scientists were asked to contribute information and expertise.

The report from the National Research Council of the National Academies is available on the National Academy of Science web site. You can read it here.
