Grants improve stream flows and water supplies around the state

2015-2017 Watershed Plan Implementation and Flow Achievement Capital Grant Program

There are twelve projects to improve water supplies, stream flows and instream habitat conditions around the state funded with grants from the Watershed Plan Implementation and Flow Achievement Capital Grant Program.

Grants range from $46,000 to $700,000, and total $3.4 million.  The legislature made this money available for projects in river basins for:

The grants were awarded for projects in 13 counties: Chelan, Ferry, Garfield, King, Lincoln, Mason, Pend Oreille, San Juan, Skamania, Spokane, Stevens, Whatcom, and Yakima.
