South Puget Sound Dissolved Oxygen Study
Advisory Committee
Ecology formed an advisory committee so solicit input on how the study is done and what factors should be considered. The advisory committee represents a broad range of interests in the Puget Sound basin and includes representatives from tribes, wastewater treatment plants, conservation districts, academia, businesses, environmental groups, and city, county, state, and federal governments.
Committee Meetings
October 28, 2009 meeting
The 7th meeting of the advisory committee is Wednesday, October 28th from 1-3 pm. Pierce County is hosting it in their Environmental Services Building (directions). The focus of the meeting is the Draft Circulation Report.
May 20, 2009 meeting
The 6th meeting of the advisory committee is Wednesday, May 20th from 10 am – noon. Pierce County is hosting it in their Environmental Services Building. The focus of the meeting is the upcoming Hydrodynamic Report.
March 17, 2008 meeting
The 5th meeting of the technical advisory committee was held on March 17, 2008 in University Place. If you have questions, please contact Andrew Kolosseus (contact information at the bottom of this page).
October 29, 2007 meeting
The 4th meeting of the technical advisory committee was held on Monday, October 29 in University Place,
at Pierce County’s Environmental Services Building.
June 11, 2007 meeting
The 3rd meeting of the technical advisory committee was held on Monday, June 11, 2007.

March 19, 2007 meeting
The 2nd meeting of the technical advisory committee was Monday, March 19, 2007.
- Agenda:
- a review of the changes to the draft study plan (thanks to those who reviewed and commented on the plan),
- a discussion of preliminary data from wastewater treatment plants,
- a review of the wastewater treatment plant monitoring meeting (to be held March 1), and
- an update on the study’s budget and schedule.

December 4, 2006 meeting
The first meeting of the technical advisory committee was held Monday, December 4, 2006 from 1-3 pm in Tacoma at the Washington State Attorney General’s Office.
