2012 Storming the Sound Conference
Central Puget Sound

Conference Theme: Making connections for Puget Sound: Bringing teachers and non-formal educators together

Please join us to explore and foster models and best practices for Puget Sound environmental and sustainability education. Storming the Sound is a one-day conference for environmental and sustainability educators in the Central Puget Sound region. This is a great opportunity for teachers, non-formal educators, environmental organizations with education programs, and students with an interest in a career in environmental education to:

  • Learn about other Puget Sound environmental education programs.
  • Bring home practical strategies and tactics you can use.
  • Gain skills and insights with experts and capable peers.
  • Share insights and network with other educators.
  • Engage and grow in sessions where everyone is a participant.
  • Exchange ideas and experiences to help you develop new perspectives and approaches.
