Ecology is organized by ten environmental programs plus administrative offices to accomplish our mission to protect, preserve and enhance Washington's environment, and promote the wise management of our air, land and water for the benefit of current and future citizens.
Our business plans include 62 activities organized by environmental program. These activities describe the business of the agency, the results we hope to achieve and our measures of performance. We track our performance each quarter and send the data to the state Office of Financial Management for posting the quarterly performance reports.
