Welcome! Ecology's GIS staff builds and maintains spatial datasets and applications, conducts GIS projects, and publishes GIS maps in support of the agency's mission of protecting the land, air, and waters of the state. Tools used in this work include GIS software by Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) including ArcInfo, ArcView, ArcSDE, MapObjects, and ArcIMS.
