Tips for Viewing and Printing County and WRIA PDF Maps
- The maps on this site were
created using ESRI's ArcInfo 9.2 ArcPlot software and transferred to Adobe
PDF files using Acrobat 7.0 with viewing compatibility down to Acrobat 4.0.
- Use the Zoom tools
to
increase (+) or decrease (-) the map area magnification of a specific area.
First click on the tool button, then click anywhere on the map.
- Use the Page Zoom tools
to alter the magnification of the entire page. Click the (-) icon to zoom
out, the (+) icon to zoom in and use the down arrow to access a menu of set
zoom values.
- Use the Pan tool
by
first clicking the tool, then clicking on the map and while holding down the
mouse button drag the view in any direction.
- All maps are color and formatted
for 8.5x11 portrait or 11x8.5 landscape page size. Depending on your printer
these maps may also be printed to paper size up to 11x17 without loss of
resolution.
- In Adobe Acrobat 5.0, the Graphics Select Tool
allows
the user to draw a box on the document and then print the area within the
box. Click on the tool button, then select an area on the map equal to not
less that ΒΌ of the total page size. Click the mouse on one corner of the
selected area and drag a box to the opposite diagonal corner. Select Print
from the File Menu and after choosing either Portrait or Landscape from the
Print menu click Ok.
