IRPP- Instream Flow Map Coverage
The Instream Resources Protection Program (IRPP) has established closures or
flow regulation on 17 Water Resource Inventory Areas (WRIA)
in Washington. This project involves the development and access to the following
improved information:
- Using the 1:100,000 Hydrography data, create linear events which depict
the designated and affected stream reaches in the state that have required low
flow and closures,
- Providing map linkage and access to the flow information that is stored on
the Internet, and
- Create a point coverage and point events that depict the flow rates at
given gauges in the state and include access to the flow data for each gauge.
