The Hydrography Project sponsors extend their thanks to the individuals and organizations who participated in the business requirements sessions. Fifteen organizations participated in the sessions that took place in September and October 1997. All three meetings were successful in that we were able to develop:
- a hydrography project goal;
- identify hydrography data requirements; and
- identify the business drivers behind those requirements.
At the start of each session, Framework Management Work Group members were asked to help develop a Hydrography Project Goal. Discussion and edits transpired at all three meetings. Many memebers felt that the goal should tie into the Washington Framework Vision. As a result, the Hydrography Framework Project Goal carries the same bullets as the Washington Framework Vision (see Hydrography Framework Project Charter.)
