Interagency Sustainability Committee

The Interagency Sustainability Committee (ISC) was formed in response to Executive Order 02-03 and is made up of sustainability coordinators from more than forty agencies. Agency sustainability coordinators meet quarterly to advance sustainability in Washington State government. Meetings typically include at least one guest speaker and agencies share success stories on best implementation practices for state government.

Sustainability coordinators are responsible for submitting sustainability reports annually and a sustainability plan each biennium. This year’s annual report is due to Ecology by December 31, 2009. Reports, plans, and success stories for state agencies are located on the Office of Financial Management’s Sustainability web site.
