Welcome to the Hazardous Substance Information and Education Office! 

The purpose of this website is to facilitate access to existing information on a variety of chemicals of interest, recycling, and community resources.

Businesses that store or release chemicals are required to report this information to the Washington State Emergency Response Commission under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act.  If you have questions about these chemicals or specific locations in your community, phone a Community Right-to-Know Specialist at 1-800-633-7585, press “2”, then "1".
