Typical project timeline

A typical project lasts about three months.

First visit

Our team will meet with your management to discuss:

  • Specific areas you would like us to evaluate.
  • What the team provides.
  • Payback period or other factors you'll look at when you consider implementing the team's recommendations.
  • Our expectations of your company (willingness to share information and evaluate the opportunities we identify).


Our team will consider your goals and whether our services can potentially help you.

On-site work
(3-7 days total)

Team members will visit your facility 1 or 2 days at a time to set up equipment, collect data, and assess your operations. We'll work with you to select the best times for these visits. The team may ask for additional information (e.g., bills for water, wastewater, chemical purchase and solid waste).

(a few weeks after on-site work is complete)

We'll compile and present a report of the best opportunities we've identified for you.

Follow up
(1 year and 2 years after the project is complete)

Our team will follow up with you a year and two years after completing a project. You're not required to implement any of the improvements we suggest—but if you have, we'd love to know how it's going!
