- Focus on
finishing and using local watershed plans (January 2004) This is
a fact sheet on "phase 4" of watershed planning, which is the
implementation phase. It addresses the first three phases of
planning, what needs to happen to finalize a watershed plan,
legislation that addressed implementation, and paying for
implementation.
- 2004 Watershed Planning and
Instream Flow Setting Progress - 2004 Report to the Legislature
(December 2004) This report on the progress of watershed
planning and instream flow setting around the state was prepared by
the Department of Ecology (Ecology), pursuant to RCW 90.82.043(5)
and RCW 90.82.080(6). It describes common findings and
recommendations from local watershed planning units, including
recommendations for legislative changes to existing statutes. It
also describes the status of the state’s most significant work in
adopting state administrative rules to put instream flows in place
and the programs necessary to protect these flows.
- Update -
Eastern Washington Watershed Planning (January 2004)
An occasional update (1-2 times per year) on the status of watershed
planning units in the 13 Eastern Washington counties, with articles
on what's new in watershed planning statewide. This edition will
include the "Focus on finishing and using watershed plans."
